Trotec South Africa will demonstrate its Speedmarker 700 with Dynamic Shift at the FESPA Africa and Sign Africa Expo, taking place 11-13 September at Gallagher Convention Centre from 9am-5pm.
The Speedmarker 700 with Dynamic Shift makes engraving on a cylindrical item without the use of a Rotary Fixture a reality. Multiple items can be set up and engraved at the same time, saving time in production and setup.
In addition, the company’s Ruby Software will be shown. This software is perfect for the production environment – importing information from Excel directly into an engraving job is just one feature. More than one user can send jobs to a laser from multiple computers, which is ideal for the education market as well as remote workers.
Engraving consumables such as a wide range of laminates and Trotec’s one part resin that makes doming so quick and easy will also be showcased.
Vision Print&Cut
Laser cutting of printed materials using a camera involves using a combination of digital imaging technology and a Trotec laser cutter to precisely cut out shapes, designs or patterns from printed materials.
The Vision Print&Cut camera system, mounted on the X-Axis of the Trotec laser, captures the image of the printed material. Ruby® laser software recognises the design’s position, orientation and dimensions within the image using the camera. During laser cutting, Ruby® aligns the digital design with the printed material. The result is a precisely cut piece of material with the design or pattern the user originally intended. This is perfect for the printing industry, combined with the fastest CO2 laser machines on the market.
